HAIVEN · PURPOSE

Ummah

Serving the Ummah of Rasulullah ﷺ

Our intention is to put what we build to good use: supporting communities whenever we can, and working towards practical ways to meet essential needs.

WHENEVER WE CAN

Support where it is needed.

We support these causes and continue to do so whenever we can, إن شاء الله.

01

Masjid Ummati series

Three mosques completed in the Ummati series, الحمد لله. We will continue helping build mosques in communities in need whenever we can, إن شاء الله.

Charity does not diminish wealth

Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Giving charity has never diminished wealth. Through forgiveness, Allah only increases a servant in honour. No person humbles themselves for Allah without Allah elevating them.”

English meaning: original translation from the Arabic.

Orphan housing & support

We support orphan housing projects and orphans, and continue to do so whenever we can, إن شاء الله.

The one who cares for an orphan

Sahl ibn Sa‘d narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: “In Paradise, the orphan’s carer and I will be like this.” He indicated this with his two fingers: the index finger and the middle finger.

English meaning: original translation from the Arabic, including the reported gesture.

Water wells

We support the building of water wells for communities in need and continue to do so whenever we can, إن شاء الله.

Allah multiplies the reward of giving

The likeness of those who spend their wealth in Allah's way is as the likeness of a grain which groweth seven ears, in every ear a hundred grains. Allah giveth increase manifold to whom He will. Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing.

English translation: Marmaduke Pickthall (1930).

Qur’an · Surah Al-Baqarah 2:261

The verse describes seven ears with one hundred grains each: a seven-hundredfold example, not seventy thousand. Allah multiplies further for whom He wills. This verse concerns spending in Allah’s way generally; it is not limited to water wells.

DEVELOPMENT & PLANNED PROJECTS

Building towards practical solutions.

Shelters and hydroponics are already in development. Water-from-air and solar-powered desalination projects are planned, pending sufficient profits from our operations.

Rapidly deployable shelters

In development. We are developing mobile shelter systems using 3D printing, with the aim of making shelter quicker to deploy where it is needed.

Water from the air

Planned, pending sufficient profits from our operations. We aim to develop solar-powered systems that collect moisture from the air through condensation, using principles similar to a dehumidifier.

Hydroponics for food security

In development. We are developing hydroponic growing systems for communities facing food shortages.

Solar-powered desalination

Planned, pending sufficient profits from our operations. We aim to develop ways to use solar energy to desalinate water for coastal communities.

Shelters and hydroponics are in development; water-from-air and solar-powered desalination await sufficient profits from our operations. These are not yet deployed solutions. Feasibility, safety and suitability for each community must be assessed before use.

WORKING TOGETHER

Through trusted charity networks.

We aim to pursue this work with reputable charity networks we have worked with in the past, guided by the needs of the communities they serve.
